Bridges

Missing teeth don’t always have to be replaced with a denture. Bridges are designed to fill the space left after a tooth has been removed.

There are several different types of bridges; however, they all work along the same principle, by fixing a replacement tooth (or teeth), to the remaining natural teeth either side of the gap.

Your bridge will be colour matched to your own teeth, and will look and feel just like a natural tooth, thereby improving not only your smile but also how you bite, chew and talk.

Some preparation of the teeth either side of the gap is usually necessary, but, this is not always the case, and most importantly, bridges do not have to be removed at night like a denture, but are cemented into place permanently.
